    • They have 90 days to appeal to SCOTUS which I believe expires on/around 9-11-2025. They could repeat like the "en banc" appeal and file on the very last day causing further delay. However, the consensus seems to be SCOTUS will reject their appeal, if filed.  Based on the latest information from the Trust on claims processing, matrix and IRO claims could be completed by December 2025 (at least in terms of evaluation and award determinations). I would think a second disbursement would not occur until early 2026. I am sure the Trust has a lot of data collected on claims and could possibly have a 2nd disbursement before 2026, but until the SCOTUS appeal is fully resolved, that for sure is going to delay a 2nd disbursement.
    • So, is it correct that this would end the litigation on/about July 13 (assuming no SC action)?  I wonder what the timetable will be for the next distribution and if all of the initial distributions will have to be made first.  Obviously, it will take years for all insurers to settle.  But we also know that litigation costs can be high for them.  So, I would guess some settlements will be made, sooner than later.

    • The 2.6 billion is not after fees. Everything I have read has indicated that the 2.6 billion is what the trust is currently funded at (including promissory notes). I think there might be a way to a way to bump that up if the hold out insurance companies decide to contribute.
    • There are new pants in the pipeline. Different cuts, made of ripstop instead of that old material that shredded if a briar looked at it. You might want to check and see if the new pants work.  As for shirts I think it's by batch. I am in a 2XL due the length and shoulders. It's my opinion that several years ago BSA decided to shift towards an untucked appearance but has not pulled the trigger on that decision yet. The crappy BSA timeline management is a problem with everything BSA does right now.
