    I always had a ‘snack time’ ! It was one of the funniest times where we were able to just fool around and have fun at the end.

    We call it a weather stone , our daycamp has one at scout craft.

    My question is... Why did I not have to take a specialized YPT or venturing YPT if I had worked at a CS Day Camp with female campers and staff? If they are already "mixing" boys and girls, why do they have to do something about it now?

    I wouldn’t switch COs just because of that in my opinion. Have you tried talking to your COR? How about the town? The mayor?

    Amazon smile isn’t worth it from what I’ve read. Anyway, it depends on your CO. Mine is a American Legion, which let’s us use their tax number. That’s how I got most of my Eagle Scout Project funded, corporate donations.

    Venturing could be used for troops, then one can be made for packs?

    Many people in my troop are not fond of swimming, so I was just curious if they only had boating, fishing, etc.

    I’ve been wondering for a while now, but kept forgetting to ask. Does Sea Base have anything beside snorkeling? I did a quick search and all I found in their website was padding in a canoe for 5 Miles that didn’t involve snorkeling I believe.

    I don’t see why the it matters since it’s 6 weeks until spring either way.

    Why not just use the venturing one for all of of scouting?

    I don’t believe so. Every summer camp/camporee required class a at dining hall, ceremonies, etc.

    I don’t think some of them ever heard of venturing..

    I’ve never heard of it, but I’m sure it’s still at some camps.

    Really? What about district camporees or summer camp? Or COHs? Same way for my troop. Class A to every meeting besides summer. (We meet in a basement with poor ventilation so it’s either freezing or boiling hot).

    I’m not saying that the Eagle Scout is right or anything, he shouldn’t be talking back first of all. Why do you require closed toe shoes? I understand for camping trips, hikes, events, etc. But if it’s just a simple meeting why do you need them?
