I am going to say (and I see some don't agree) if I ever see a scout in white socks I kindly ask him not to wear them to meetings. And yes it is APART of the uniform !

My pack meets weekly - Tigers All the way up to Webs We also have 1 activity during June July Aug + 1 pack meeting per month

List includes Tents and snack. Yes they are providing Breakfast lunch and Dinner -

Received my information packet via email today for this weekends Ordeal and I find it rather odd they need to include what to bring? I mean seriously its a campout! shouldn't they know?

Which is one of my only complaints with the Wood Badge course, was the majority of the class was indoors There is so much out there.. I wish I could get LOST for a week and no one get really upset, the wife and kids might just not know what to do.

You know I have developed some GREAT relationships when I took Wood Badge back in February, relationships I wouldn't trade for anything. Maybe boys don't realize how important those relationships are because of things like FaceBook. I don't know, who am I..Just some 38 year old OLD MAN. I am very much looking forward to new relationships I will forge in our OA Ordeal at the end of the month.

Thanks so much guys for the help. From what I understand this lodge has been in disarray for some time and not very active, only because of the leadership.

This isnt a "scout" issue. Fine, tell the boys when you are hoovering over them that this activity is not condoned at scouting events. No issue with that. You can't control what they do at school though.
