Considering that ounce per ounce bottles water is more expensive than gasoline and disposable water bottles are frowned upon by Scouters (at least in my council). Is it ethical for Boy Scouts to sell disposable water bottles in the first place?

One would assume the parents know exactly what a Pride parade is and approve of their son marching in it. The other assumption seems to be the SM is attempting to pull the wool over the eyes of the parents and or scouts and take them to something they know nothing about.

Well, well, well that is new. Didn't see the revised announcement. They finally listened to the boots on the ground. Logic is not a hallmark of Irving so don't count on them being available. Interesting how it is illegal for a minor to purchase tobacco or to sell tobacco to a minor. So the only way for a minor to obtain tobacco is to steal it or "find" it. Either way sounds like a violation of the oath and law. Anyone feel this should be treated differently that a scout caught with weed?

Former SM has a ski boat and would have an outing at the lake every year. Seemed natural for him to be a Watersports MBC. Also at our summer camp any unit leader can serve as a Cooking MBC, does not even need to be registered as a MBC.
