I like the idea about giving everyone $200,000. You're right. I could pay off everything I owe. Buy a new car. My kids wouldn't have to borrow for college. Heck, I'd even buy some new Scout pants. I'm a bit confused. Are you wanting to form a new unit, a Varsity Team, using the troop's CO and committee? Why can't you do a high adventure program without a Varsity Team? Many troops operate a Venture Patrol within the troop as a patrol that does high adventure stuff.

I'm not famous for my common sense but let's apply some here . . . . if there's a thunderstorm what the heck were you doing out in the open? What sense would it make to have Scouts out in the rain, fussing with a big metal pole waiting for lightning to hit it? It is not a violation of flag protocol to not fly it in inclement weather. If the SPL said that the ceremonies were canceled, why did you go?

What always astounds me is that citizens of other countries cry "Americans, stay out of our politics!" but the feel free to stick their noses into our and the silly press and sillier liberals run around circles wailing, "Other people don't like us!" They've never liked us. Even when we're saving their butts, they don't like us. Even when we give them billions in food and aid, the don't like us. They take our money. They take our food. Then they spit on us.

It's not possible to be registered as DL and CC for the same unit since you cannot hold two positions with a unit unless one is COR. However, many times people effectively act in two roles such as Treasurer and DL. I'd say that being a DL and CC isn't a good combination. Being a DL and ASM is possible. In a perfect world, BSA would love to see each adult holding exactly one position but that isn't the case in the real world.

Not sexist at all, very true. Men, in general, are just rutting beasts. It is the female of the species that controls that. How many male prostititutes are out there serving women compared to women serving as prostitutes? If more women just said, "No" we wouldn't have the level of teenaged moms, single moms, kids with no fathers, women with kids from multiple fathers but never had a husband that we have today. My 15 year old daughter is getting pressure from her friends because she's apparently the lone virgin in the group. Apparently, the idea is that if you don't have sex you won't get dates. If more girls said "no," like they did back when I was young, that's what guys would expect. Women, always have and always will have the final say.

However, we cannot lose sight of the fact that the rich will come out of all of this even richer. China will have accomplished their goal of world supremecy thanks to the greed of the Americans of all classes.
