One way around it is if you assign tents to go home with the individual right after the campout. Then, they have to return it at the next meeting. We give scoutbucks to people who return the tent at that very next meeting.

I would consider it a threat to the Boy Scouts of America because they could cause problems and put a bad reputation all around.

"We like to help out the Boy Scouts, because many of our best recruits were Boy Scouts." Heck yeah... I bet so. I say this because some scouts already have some leadership experience, outdoor experience, citizenship experience, etc.

I live right next to the baseball field which is near the school. I'm only 14 so I dont really have the choice anyway. It doesnt bother me either, because it is so close. The Junior High I went to was less than 2 blocks away. This week when I help at JH baseball tryouts (coach is a family friend), I will most likely ride my bike across town. There is a kid on my high school football team who rides his bike into town to weight lift every other day. He lives 4 or 5 miles out of town. And really, I dont care if it is "cool' or not. Let me tell you, to most, Boy Scouts isnt "cool". Its all a matter of opinion.

I'm glad I dont live there. I have walked to school almost all of my life. And sometimes, I will disappear for most of the day out on my bike. My friend and I go basically anywhere we want.

Not really, is my site living, but I would defenitely consider it close. I update it daily and it has information about most of my life. sst3rd is right. Their rank programs really dont compare. Girl Scouts is more based on age similar to Cub Scouts. Boy Scouts isnt. 4 or 5 things in common really arent that much either. You know, I could probably find that many things in common between you and me. Lets see..... 1. both male 2. both use the internet and scouter.com 3. both involved in scouts 4. both in this world 5. both have some kind of religion There's five, probably could come up with more if I really wanted to and I dont even know you very much. If any of that is wrong, then you had to of lied somewhere.

Maybe my name is something for you to just not understand. I'm gonna leave it at that because I would like to abide by the Scout Law and Oath. Also, I dont trust you like some people on here who I have gotten to know a little bit better. My name would make perfect sense if you knew the slightest bit about me. What I said does make sense. I guess though, I better explain it. My website and your son have nothing in common that I know of. The Eagle badge and the Gold Award have soooo little in common as well.

I'm gonna have to agree with Bob on this one. My oldest sister got her Gold Award several years ago. My youngest but still older sister is now working on hers doing a similar project( running day camp). I can only think of one similarity and that is doing a service project. So Fat Old Guy, what do you want to compare of yours to my website?? Your son??
