epalmer84 10
I have no clue why I am double posting. It happenns with Internet Explore 7 and Firefox 1.5. If I edit one of the double posts, the other gets edited as well. I would appreciate any advice.
scoutldr 722
You can't kid us...you're just trying to make it to "Senior" status! :-)
epalmer84 10
Actually, if you check the replies each double post is only counting once.
CalicoPenn 729
Is your mouse button set to "doubleclick" when you click once? In some of the "older" operating systems, there was an option under "Control Panel - Mouse" that allowed one to enable a function that would automatically change a single click of the mouse button to a double click. You might check to see if you have that option and if so, is it enabled. It was also sometimes found under "Control Panel - Accessibility". Most of the newer operating systems don't have this because double-clicking is no longer required most of the time (it used to be common that you had to double-click everything to perform a task like open a file, etc.). epalmer84 10
Nope- not a double click problem. It happens from my work PC, my home desktop and my home laptop- all running XP. If you look at the numer of replies to this topic, you will note that my posts only count once. Ed
Gonzo1 10
epalmer, I wasn't trying to gang up on you. I sent private messages twice, but you didn't respond, so I posted it publicly. I really enjoy your comments. I just find the double posts annoying, but not you. Sorry, Gonzo1
epalmer84 10
My comments are so good you need to read them twice! :-)
Gonzo1 10
Ed, your comments are good, but not THAT good. (wink) G
packsaddle 753
I consulted with our network and web gurus and they just offered vague speculations like it was a function of the web browser. But I think I have figured it out...split personality, you know, like the "Two Faces of Ed". Or maybe an evil twin existing only as an extra frontal lobe or something. MarkS 11
It's an undocumented feature of your software. Who says you don't get anything for free anymore?
scoutldr 722
I noticed on my last post, it doubled. This is a test to see if I've caught the virus.
local1400 10
In the last few days every time I click the "Todays Active Topics" section I get the ol' PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. Is something I'm doing wrong or is there something going around?
scoutldr 722
Me, too. I assume it's a function of too many people trying to log on to the Scouter.com site at once. I find it's much better in the early morning (EST), before the rest of the country wakes up.
