My favorite would have to be by far Rock Climbing. I also like the Emergency Preparedness MB. I think that First Aid merit badge should be taught by the Red Cross doing their Wilderness First Aid course.

Dave, my mom and I were discussing joining a Venture Crew... The advisor(a friend of ours, but we havent talked to him about it) gave us two registration forms: one for me and one for her. Here are the questions: Does she need to fill another one out for her because she was a den leader in Cub Scouts and do I have to pay an additional $7 or whatever it is even though I am a registered Boy Scout? Just wondering

I think that all should have to register, but hopefully only have the ones who want to be serving doing so... OGE, this does relate to scouting sort of... "Do my duty to God and my country"

There is a kid at school who has worn a BDU shirt to school for a while now which says" US Marines" and has the emblem on the pocket. I notified him that he was not a Marine and that what he was doing was illegal. He just kind of shrugged and it didnt bother him a bit. I wear that stuff, but the only patches, etc that I own are not on any of it. I plan to soon purchase a set of OD BDU stuff.

I may try getting our troop to earn this award:) We did Emergency Prep last night(I know that is a bad sign:)) and we plan to set our troop up to be ready to respond if needed... Our Scout Master is a safety officer for a construction company and a volunteer fire fighter.

Purcelce, We didnt know about the fire that night I guess:) We played Capture the Flag instead with another troop on the road:)

Just got back from the camporee. I got to meet purcelce in person yesterday while going from activity to activity. It was cold Saturday morning:(, but we lived:) And played lots of capture the Flag last night with another troop.

I know that Purcelce and I are;) Who else is going camping and where? So I'll be gone all weekend:)

You telling me that we shouldnt support the Government because they dont exactly agree with our values either?????
