Not sure OGE, but I think it goes through Giant City.... dont know Vmom- down there it is hilly, etc for the most part. That is probably the main area for climbing outdoors in Illinois or one of the better places. Where I'm at, we have the bluffs. I sit about 10 miles, probably less, to the Mississippi River. Our camp could have some climbing, wouldnt you say purcelce? I know the Girl Scouts wanted to do that one year, but their instructor ended up overseas.

Mom, its 6 hours from us to Cincy so I would say an additional 3-4 hours to southern IL.

Trail, Our first oponent had forfeit the game b/c their teachers had been on strike for over a week. Also, they have to forfeit tomorrow night's game against the varsity. Let you know tomorrow sometime about how we do tonite. Oh.... I almost forgot, we did scrimmage the sophmore team. We lost 40-0:( Also, a kid on my team got to ride in an ambulance after breaking his arm in two places:( And he was my backup on both offense and defense(This message has been edited by hops_scout)

Yes, I have very little experience with a firearm. Actually, other than a few occasions with a BB gun, the only experience I have is from Scouting. But, most people when they join the military have never fired a firearm in their lives and they protect us 365 days a year:)

No, the only thing that we have special is extremely above average grades:), awesome technology( except for phone system at high school), and we had 3 conference championships last fall alone. I wish we did..... but that would make it hard, too.... I play basketball as well. That's something I will try to do if I go to West Point. I wish our crew did a shooting sports thing. I learned at summer camp this I'm a really good shot with a rifle.

Acco, you're right, I agree that it is great to get several responses when a good question is asked, but they almost alwyas seem to fall into one person attacking another sooner or later.

This is another stupid forum. Who cares?????? We know that in order to be in Scouts, you have to have some kind of religion... why do you need more than that? I dont feel like telling you my religion, ever think that was something maybe personal? FOG, you probably know, but I dont care. All I'm saying about it is that I am not atheist. 'nuff said

FOG, I dont need it explained to me in baseball terms. They still need to have it corrected. BTW--- I only have that email because I used to be catcher, I no longer am... I just dont feel like going through my whole internet log ons, etc and change it.

Packsaddle, I know a simple solution for that one.... call the police or other government agency. That is illegal, can give reference if needed/wanted.

I agree to a point. I think it is great now that I'm not the only known scout here:)

I know its not right, but I'm Star. And have only been Star for a week and it is the older boys doing who are all higher rank than me. Therefor, I have no control over it.

OGE, I was trying to make a point there.... I know what co-ed means. As far as I know, there are just about as many females as males in our crew.

Our crew is co-ed. I think, not sure, but I think that a 15 year old girl is the president. At the meeting Thursday night, there were 3 girls and 3 guys there.

And FIX THEM!!!!!! If they are displayed wrong, fix them if possible.
