Or smiling, at least. Universal language. All humans speak the same language immediately after birth. That changes after the first year, thru no fault of the newborn. I once saw a very clever comedian, his schtick was "the universal translator" : Czechoslovakian baby : "Ayagaga bluggggh". Chainese baby: " Ayagagablugggggh".
