Discounts at Bass Pro Shops?

We have a brand new troop and need to purchase some basic supplies.   We have a Bass Pro shop local and wondered if anyone has worked with them to get discounts on equipment for scout supplies like stoves and tents.

Not sure about Bass in particular, but scouts that have gone to hardware big box stores all get the same bit of advice. Each store has a fixed amount of money they donate per month or fiscal quarter, so be there asking at the start of that period with an explicit list of needs.

Bass Pro Shops, Dick's Sporting Goods and Gander Mountain each offer a 10% discount if you present a current BSA membership card.

Cabela's offers 10% in store if you present your troop checkbook.

 

Many other outdoors stores offer Scouts discounts.
