When I asked about it, the scoutmaster knew about it, but doesn't have one. The scout shop also could not find one. Does anyone out there have one they could send me? Hunt Posted June 12, 2007 Share Posted June 12, 2007 I've never seen this form--the last time a boy in my son's troop earned a palm, we just put it on the normal advancement report, and nobody said anything about it. The council checks to make sure that the merit badges listed have indeed been earned, and haven't been used as credit for the Eagle rank, or another Palm. Hunt Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Why would the council do that? They don't check for Star and Life, and far as I know. I can understand the extra procedures to make sure that all the ts are crossed for Eagle itself, but I don't see why the unit can't be trusted to take care of the palms.
