swiss army knife--- leatherman only if I need a pair of pliers

I changed my mind......I think I rather have a "Communicator". That way I could have Scotty beam me what I needed.

SAK - must have scissors on board.

 

If I need tools - I'll bring tools. I have yet to need tools when camping.

from opening cans to

taking out a cork.

From picking my teeth,

to cutting a rope,

gutting a fish,

or sawing a limb

there it is in my pouch

ready willing and able.

Sorry, but actually neither. Basic tool is a Buck knife and any other need is handled by the proper tool. Each with their own back up tool. Have always hesitated to have all my 'eggs in one basket' as it were. Lose one, then all is not a good idea to me.

Have had one since they came out and has served me well over the years.

I carry both but use my Buck knife more than my leatherman.

I carry a Swiss Army Classic and Tinker - except when not allowed by applicable federal, state or local laws.

 

If I need other real tools, I bring them.
