Recommended Posts

Just a few....

A 15 passenger van safety training program to be conducted at the Council level. Units operating vans must show proof of training for trip tickets to be approved.

Paint ball guns not to exceed a pressure level of 60 psi

Slope angles for mountain boarding not to exceed a 3 percent grade.

Cub Scouts, and Webelos use of jump rocks, and rope swings forbidden...

LOL

The 15 passsengar van was plausible.

The paintball thing seems odd since the safety is measured by muzzle velocity of 200 FPS or below, NOT by pressure...

3% angle for mountain boarding (skateboards with knobby tires) is another tip off

Thanks for the laugh!

On a serious note - If any of you call or email about this I will now at least know where it came from.

Second serious note: Put up your best practices if you are proud of them - www.myscouting.org

Thrid point - elevated water entry (ala rope swings) does have water entry height restrictions for cause.

Not so serious (well sort of) We continue to evaluate the hazards, risks and rewards of roasting marshmallows........

Nah, forget horses. I think it's a travesty that the BSA still does not have a ban on dwarf-tossing. It's just what people would expect from a discriminatory organization, to continue to allow this "sport." :)
