jasper18 13
Can Kickball Belt Loop count as a team sport for the Webelos Sportsman requirements? Here is what it says: While you are a Webelos Scout, earn Cub Scouting Sports belt loops for two team sports (baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, flag football, or ultimate). Thanks! King Ding Dong 540
Thant is a good question. Kickball is a team sport. I think the latest revision of the Webelos Handbook was 2003 and Kickball was added as a belt loop in 2010 according to meritbadge.org. Therefor it could not be included in the list. My vote is yes. My son earned it at a district lockin that included kickball and basketball for Sportsman.
Stosh 3452
The requirement does not say ORGANIZED team sports. What they want the boys doing is playing as a team vs. tennis, golf, skiing, etc.
Basementdweller 608
remember the books aren't revised all that often.....I would count kickball.....I believe it met the intent of the requirement.
Austinole 43
I count it. Think about the ultimate goal of the requirement.

Sqyire21 32
It counts as a team sport in the Bear Book... so to me, it's clear cut.
