Bob White is so . . . .

Recommended Posts

SaltHeart,

Aaahhh, the old trying to recapture lost oppurtunities screen name ploy, eh? Understood. If I went that way, mine would be "couldabeenaminorleagueballplayer".

Or Maybe "shouldagottenmycollegedegree".

Or best for this forum, "wishiwereaneaglescout".

Thanks for being here.

Mark

Yo, Foggy-boy. Listen up. Reality is calling.

This post is not in defense of Bob White (or any of the other multitude of those whom you have attacked or offended), so get the "Bobby" chip off your shoulder, and pay attention.

The politeness of others hasn't seemed to work to curb your objectionable behavior, nor have the requests of the operators of this discussion board. Your consistent lack of common courtesy, blatant disrespect for others, and general disregard for the Scout Law (which is a governing principle of this board) is disgraceful.

This is a Scouting-related endeavor, one that most of us enjoy and find educational and helpful. As Scouts and Scouters, we all tend to hold our own behaviorial standards very high, especially in the company of other Scouts and Scouters. The VAST majority of disagreements on these boards are handled with reasonable decorum and mutual respect.

You seem to find gleeful delight in causing disruption, anger, and ill-will towards you. What a sad little man you must be.

Let's look at how your behavior would be handled in different forums and circumstances:

If this were a biker bar, you would have long ago had your hiney kicked for your comments and general attitude; been shown the door by the bouncer; or perhaps both in rapid succession.

If this were a movie theater, you'd be the loud obnoxious guy in the back who is finally asked to leave because of complaints.

If this were your job, you'd likely be given a cardboard box at the end of the day and an escort from the premises because of insubordination, harassment, or (in employment-at-will states) "this guy just ain't gonna work out - get rid of him".

If this were a baseball game (something near and dear to your heart), you'd long ago have been ejected from the game for unsportsmanlike conduct. Funny, though, I bet you'd spit in the ump's face before you left.

**

Is it sinking in yet, FOGGY BOY?

Is that little bulb above your head starting to glow just a wee bit?

If you decide that you can behave in a SCOUTLIKE MANNER, and can provide constructive input into these forums, you are by all means welcome to stay.

Otherwise, hit google.com and find some other board or chat room to express your anti-social and pugnacious rhetoric -- we're too busy for your crap here.

We're the Boy Scouts of America

Scouting for things anew.

Our activities lead to victories

in all we set out to do.

We're the Boy Scouts of America,

We plan hand in hand each day

To do better than need be done

till all our goals are won

champs with a winning way.

We're loyal to purpose and integrity

Pledged to the Scout Oath eternally.

With verve and conviction we sing our song

to keep America strong.

We're the Boy Scouts of America

and this we have to say

Join us and we'll stand beside you,

beside you all the way.

The Boy Scouts of America

will stand beside you all the way.

Like I said, we can be our own worst enemy by actually responding to these kind of posts and threads. I can't for a moment believe that the membership here thrives on responding to abuse put out by trolls such as this. I would regard the caliber of the membership as better than that. Certainly the troll thrives on our inability to ignore him. Once a troll realizes that no one will converse with him or respond to his rhetoric, he usually leaves. Even a weed will find its demise in a drought.(This message has been edited by saltheart)

ON MY HONOR

On my honor,

I'll do my best,

To do my duty to God.

On my honor,

I'll do my best,

To serve my country as I may.

On my honor,

I'll do my best,

To do a good turn each day.

To keep my body strengthened.

To keep my mind awakened,

To follow paths of righteousness,

On my honor,

I'll do my best.

FOG,

A scout is... The scout law, something created to show scouts like myself what the ideal citizen is.

Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, Reverent these are the 12 points of the scout law. I can honestly state how you have broken all of them.

Trustworthy-You can't be trusted because you always lie, such as making up this whole whiney post.

Loyal-You aren't loyal to fellow scouters in holding to the ideals of scouting.

Helpful-Your posts aren't helpful in anyway to adding to the scouting movement, or anything for that matter.

Friendly-Your rude to everyone, the complete opposite of a grown man.

Courteous-Your rude and ignorant when you post anything/everything.

Kind-You treat everyone but yourself as lower than you.

Obedient-You ignore fellow scouts/scouters, as well as administrators when they tell you to change your attitudes or leave.

Cheerful-This is a side of you we have yet to see.

Thrifty-You waste power running your computer creating this trash you write.

Brave-You are a baby who complains about everything.

Clean-Well your language/tone proves me right here.

Reverent-The thought that your higher being(s) would want you to act like this is pure idiocy.

Let's see what you have to say to this, and this is only the law we haven't even mentioned the oath, and if you are in the order of the arrow -- god help us.

-Jeff

Please fell free to respond/pm me I am curious to what you have to say

"Secondly, I have a reason -- I'm in high school...What's yours???"

We should hope that a high school student would have a good grasp of English.

As for your adherence to the Scout Law, your post shows that you have less respect for it than you claim that I have.

Buh-bye.

I see no reaon for this thread. I see no reason for good Scouters to dive into personal arguments against each other.

This isn't Korea. It isn't Vietnam. It isn't even Iraq.

We should pull out and ignore. No harm will come from it, I assure you.
