I put it in there head from day one to take pride in there uniform.... My son gets upset if he can't find his socks......

Do you think it is appropriate to wear a cub scout uniform at a girl scout event? and vise versus for a girl scout to wear there uniform at a cub scout event like a cuboree when the boys are all in class-a uniforms? And what about adults who are involved with both..... Is it inappropriate for me to wear my uniform at a girl scouting event?(This message has been edited by Pack378)

I have been looking around at the various Scouting webrings on the net... Do you think it is a good idea to get involved in one? I personally don't like them and don't see a point in them... Has anybody had good luck with them?

We live in an Area where Katrina hit pretty hard, so what decided to do was sell Hamburgers on french bread, a bag of chips, and a Soft Drink for 5 dollars at Home Depot. The area we Chose was devastated and there was no where to eat at in that area, most of the area did not have electricity or even running water. In 3 hours or pack sold over 275 hamburgers, we made over 1,300. Hey everyone... Just recently I signed my son up for TigerCubs. That was November! Now I'm A tigercub leader, an Assistant CubMaster, and the webmaster of www.cspack378.org. I left Scouting at the age of 16 (didn't get my Eagle, only life!) But I spent many years on Staff for Summer and Winter camps, been to Philmont twice and now I'm back into Scouts like I never left. Does anybody Know if anybody has a good positive rss BSA feed? All the feeds I find from google and yahoo have negative results.... What I do is add feeds to my website so our members can get ideas and see the positive impact Scouting is doing around the country.... I kind of had the same problem you had. What we started doing is promoting the website at pack meeting ad Den meeting to get more info about the upcoming events... Also the Photo Gallery was updated pretty regularly with pictures of everybody's sons so they wanted to come to the site. I took over http://www.cspack378.org/ in November and it has had a good turn out. Also we have a newsletter that sends updates to the leaders and parents......... Good luck with the website
