Covered it up with removing the newspapers. If it concerns the public like that I would've told them what happened.

I also forgot to mention in my council as a whole only 2 people are trained for AAD and PPXII and there unit leaders in my troop. Thats how important the program is in my council.

Wow thats a lot me serious then I orginally thought it was. They were fired, parents probably aren't too happy. That might be more then enough punishment. They may not want to go to Jamboree with the council troop. I'm sure others from the camp staff are gonig and will know what they did. How old are they?

I'm taking my BOR next week for my Pope Pius XII. I believe our diocease training is held once a year and its 2nd or 3rd weekend in september. I think they might have monthly meetings bot to sure. If you look on the Cathic COmm. on scouting web site they do have a rosarty patch could help others get and other awards i think without any training.

I doubt they would be kicked out of scouts. Some punishment will be administered by someone. Maybe if they apologized it would clear things up?

Just transfer to another troop. All this BS your going through to me isn't worth it.

I like the food court at Cabela's. Things in that palce are expensive. I think Gander Mountain is cheaper.

I use stuff from wal-mart that has 16%-18% of DEET in it. Works great i put it on my skin no problems. I don't spray it on my face. At the most i only use it twice a day.

Your local Cabela's has a 10% disscount on camping. I would compare prices there they also have a camping clearence section sometimes ours has tents plus the 10% might not be bad. How much are willing too spend? Walmart has coleman.

We have one kid with the nick name "tubby". The kids call him that, the leaders don't but i have asked him if it does offend and he's told me ever single time no. He doesn't seem to mind it. As long as the kid doesn't care, I don't see a problem with the other kids calling him by his nick name.

I'm all against the slot machines. Once I found out that some of those places that are using them are not for lowering the taxes. There used to help pay for philly's and Pitt's new arenas.

Why not? I think you can be registered in mre then 1 crew. Just so happened the college i'm going to this fall has recently or is forming a venture crew this summer so i'm considering joining that.

Who was banned and for what?

"Camp Pioneer near Mena, AK has new concrete building latrines with several flush toilets in private stalls, several individual showers (hot water!) in private stalls and seveal sinks with hot water. The sinks and toilets where all real toilets and sinks. A nice setup - usually one of these latrine buildings between two campsites."

I got back from summer camp a couple days ago with my troop. Camp director at our pre camp meeting told us that national is pushing for these individual stalls/showers now because of the all the sexual harrasment stuff now a days. However not only do we have this new building up with 6 showers and 8 toilets but the group shower house which is on the other side of camp is still opened for those camping in that area. All campsites have a urnial with 2 toilet seats and cold water sink area. The new shower area which had its first use this year is really nice and as far as I know no problems with the toilets or anything. Just a nice convenience. (especially when its in walking distance of your campsite)

BTW also this year adult leaders are required to wear colored wrist bands all the time at summer camp for protection reasons. I was wondering if any other camps started this yet.

No beer at all. Our leaders drink but they never do it at scout functions.
