Car and Motorcycle Show

 

STRATHAM Boy Scout Troop 185 from Stratham will host its 17th annual Stratham Hill Car and Motorcycle Show. The show will take place on Sun., October 5 at Stratham Hill Park on Route 33 in Stratham. The gate opens at 8:00 a.m. and registration lasts until 11:00 a.m.

 

Trophies will be awarded in over 25 classes plus Best of Show, Boy Scouts Favorite and Peoples Choice. Over 200 cars are expected.

 

Advanced entry fee is $7.00 per car. Spectator admission is $3.00 while those in the military, Girls/Boys Scouts in uniform and children under 12 are admitted free. Food and beverages are available all day. The show is a fundraiser to help defray the cost of BSA summer camp, high adventure trips and other scouting activities.

What I said was that I would be surprised if would be approved. So far you have only shown that the unit does it.

 

Sctdad still is required to submit the event for approval by his council executive on a Unit Money Earning Application.

How would this be different from the pancake breakfast we host and which is approved by council?

 

We have food, they have food

We have entertainment, they have entertainment

We have...no motorcycles, they have motorcycles

 

Gee, I'm likely theirs more and more.

The ride is entertainment which is the product! This ain't rocket science! This might not get approved but like others said, it isn't any different than a haunted house or a hay ride where the product is entertainment!
