How many changes of clothes for six days on the trail?

I usually (in addition to what I am wearing)

 

1 more pair wicking anti-microbial uw.

1 more extra shirt

1 extra pair shorts

3 pairs socks. (I cut out the extra uw before the socks)

We have our six day Appalachian trip coming up. How many changes of clothes do you recommend?

Number of shirts?

Number of shorts?

Number of socks?

 

Camp shoes are they necessary?

1 spare pants, 1 spare shirt, 1 spare underware, 2 spare pair of socks. No camp.shoes.
