Other then that what purpose does it serve... Now if it had small opening so you could open a trap door to pee, I could see some guys not wanting to get out of their sleeping bag on a cold winter night when they have to pee using it.
If you want to keep the furnace really low in the house, that might be ideal. For camping, worthless. Try to walk around outside with something like that and the bottoms would be filthy and probabaly wet from dew. Yuck!
I saw one this morning, and I passed by this thread thinking it was the same product, but it seems to be different. The models I saw had "pads" on the bottom of the feet.
They are very useful. I have used a similar product while winter hunting. If your sitting in a tree stand at -10 degrees for 6-8 hrs at a time, you want something like this to stay warm and cozy.
