VH_50
It's one of my favorites, too, but I believe the wording is: "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." --Margaret Mead

Bob White
There are some great Sm minutes in this list. Thanks to all that responded. Ozemu, I love your wet weather plan. Bob
rlculver415
FYI - the "wisdom" sayings from insanescouter are from the book of Proverbs in the Bible. (several different chapters) It is worth investigating for short SM minutes, and shouldn't offend many people's religious preferences - if any. The Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths would all accept these words.

OCTroop32
Here are a few I have written down over the years: - If you do a favor, forget it; if you receive one, remember it. Unknown - Don't sit around and wait for it to be a good day - go out and make it a good day. Hazel Jones. - The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do Unknown - Listen to the sound of the river and you will catch fish - Irish Proverb - When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened of us. Helen Keller (1880-1968) - only the lead sled dog has a good view. Unknown - He who is good at making excuses is seldom good at anything else. Ben Franklin (1706-1790) - Half the battle is getting started Colin S.K. Walker - Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs. Henry Ford (1863-1947) - You and I are OK. God doesn't make junk - Poster seen in a church - Don't wait for your ship to come in... swim out to it. Unknown - We didn't inherit the Earth from our parents. We're borrowing it from our children. Chief Seattle (1788-1866) - Dreams are not made in one day or night, it takes tears of hard work. Craig Thomas Wolff - The old owner of the 76ers was asked why he decided to sell the team "Because Pat Croce called me 50 times." - Unlock your mind, unleash your soul, and gamble on yourself. Pat Croce 76ers owner and former president. Most of these are from a little booklet our office gets once a week or every other week. I think it is call Bits and Pieces. KoreaScouter
Kevin Eikenberry's Powerquotes are another good source, e-mailed to your computer every day. I cut and paste the good ones into a Word document that squirts into my Palm pilot whenever I sync it up. Do a google search and you'll find the site... "Never be afraid to try something new. red feather
Used after a particlarly hectic Court of Honor The only difference between this place and the Titantic is they had a band. Misc: No plan ever survived contact. If your parents didn't have children odds are you won't either. One of favorites: Remember this, foolish mortals, when ye stare headlong into the mind-paralyzing void, the inky black nothingness of existence, the he--ish yawning maw of the abyss--it's pretty d--n dark, so give it a few minutes for your eyes to adjust.
