Time Extensions for Eagle

Talked to the National Advancement Team and they suggested, with no guarantees, that there might be grounds for an extension. Find the extension form in GTA, and then to try to meet with the council advancement chair to discuss the process. The extenuating circumstance would involve errors by adults in delaying consideration of the proposal and wrongfully rejecting it based on the number of hours. These days the council must research what happened and submit the extension form along with the results of the research and a recommendation on whether an extension should be approved.

I do not think anyone on the District Committee but the new DAC knew they were back on the EBORs. I sure didn't. As for the folks who are back on, it was kept relatively quiet, i.e. "Thank you for serving on the EBORs, but we really need you to serve as commissioners to help keep Scouting strong." or words to that effect. They are long term scouters who do have a part to play still, but just not on EBORs.

He got an extension, don't know for how long, and has already started work on it. Apparently he got the OK this past Friday while his SM and I were doing IOLS training.
