acco40 95
When a merit badge requirement (such as for Personal Fitness) states: Have your parent, counselor, or other adult take and record the following measurements do you feel the counselor has the authority to insist they take the measurements? Is that adding to the requirement?
LongHaul 10
This topic just never seems to get old or DIE! "Have your parent, counselor, or other adult take and record the following measurements" doesn't leave much room for interpretation. For a counselor to insist that he/she shall be the only one allowed to "record the following measurements" is altering the requirement as written. LongHaul

Lisabob 13
acco I admit I'm curious - why on earth would a mb counselor *want* to do that? I can't think of any good reasons and I can think of at least a couple of bad/creepy reasons. Lisa'bob
acco40 95
I agree. I know the counselor in question and I don't think it is a "creepy" issue but more of a control issue.
