  1. I read a newspaper article that says lawyers and others get $1billion from this mess. What a shame. Sounds like the coalition group will be 1/2 of that and people billing scouts another huge chunk. Any body know who gets all that? Can the judge force them to give some to survivors? If you pretend you don’t know how to get somewhere and you drive a cab who cares. The meter is still going.
  2. Thanks. Who gets the report and what does it mean in for the process. Does the judge decide if everybody needs to use the results? I don’t really get how it is important.
  3. If some local councils get sued by all these victim claimants where the number of survivors is high don’t people end up getting less? More that i can’t make sense of. Do you know how many people would be in line to get law suit payments in those councils and how much they have in assets? Probably need to have the liability insurance details too. This is a disaster. I guess lawyers and CPAs are in hog heaven. Maybe i just watch from the peanut gallery until the struggle plays out to meet my level of what makes sense to me. Anyone got some info or was that to hard to follow?
  4. Ok. I still don’t get that bc I hear about pensions going before any other creditors. Will all the attorneys fees there paying all the time start cutting into that amount before too long?
  5. I’m new. Can you explain what you mean? What about the pension fund? Doesn’t it get preference or whatever the term is?
