  1. Mine was a fire engine red 1966 Mercury Comet 2 door ragtop....and I still have and drive it! I have probably spent 20 fold on what the car originally cost just keeping it inside a mini warehouse. Good thing that girl can't talk cause if she did I probably would be divorced! She carries a lot of memories. Ah...those days of driving countless miles at Daytona Beach with the college cuties. I've gone thru 2 restorations so far and am currently in my 3rd. Its an ongoing project. Hopefully I'll have her finished up in time to pass along to my son. He's a Tiger.
  2. Chem, tell me more. I looked up mimeograph masters on Amazon and dont seem to pull up anything. Same for Google. I'm always looking out for ideas for the Tigers! Thanks.
  3. Hello everyone from sunny North Florida. After a more than 34 year timeout I'm back at it again, and loving every minute. Like a lot of folks it took my 7 year old to get me back. Obviously part of the problem may lie with me. I didn't assume the TDL position until well into into the program year. I never really had an opportunity to lay out the groundwork with the parents as to what was expected. Honestly, I didn't know wh

    Bear Badge ?

I don't mean to hijack Gordy's thread but I felt my issue was along the lines of his topic. I'm a TDL for the first time after being out of scouting for some 34 years. I'm in agreement that the boys don't have to be lockstep in their progress to advancement, specifically to the Tiger badge. So exactly how do you get a boy to make up a "Go See It" activity. As Chemlaw said, a hike is a hike and is easy to make up as usually this is a repeat activity, but what about an organized prearranged activity like a guided tour of the police station? If this was the only activity the boy missed d
