I have served on Summer Camp Staff for two years. I hate the shorts with a firey passion. The polyester rotted, for lack of a better description, out from under me in three weeks. I bought two cotton pairs; both I discovered with defective snaps. I exchanged them. One the new pairs was defective as well. My troop has never made use of the shorts/pants.

As a scout I started out in the Cougar Patrol. We combine with the Roadrunners to form the Blood Rats--Hated that one--which in turn combined with the Spar-Hawks(combination of Spartan and Hawk patrols) and Scorpions to form the Spartans. 5 into one. Then there just me and it was "Hey you." On a camporee I met a "Lost Soles" patrol. There flag was a pair of shoes.

When I turned 18 I registered at an ASM with my troop. Now I am in college, and I have been working with a local troop here for a few months. Do I need to register with this new unit, or is my first registration (still current) sufficient?

While I was working toward my Eagle, I served time as Patrol Leader and Webmaster--time overlapped. With the webmaster position, my official POR was Instructor. I reinvented the troop website (it had been dead for two years), maintained it with news from each meeting and event, and when the time came thoroughly trained my sucessor. On another note, as one the few older guys left in my troop I'm sure I intructed enough.

Recently, on the net I have read about a group calling themselves the RSA (Rover Scout Association). Is this groups recognized by BSA?

I am an Eagle Scout an now an ASM(18). I was registered with a crew via camp staff, but there are no units anywhere near where I am going to school. Is there such a thing as Lone Venturing?
