It took me 3 1/2 years to finish everything. (With a broken ankle in the middle. ) Didn't have quest when I finished. Now I'm aged out. As for the uniform. I was under the impression after 18 it needs to be a knot patch. No matter what uniform.

Having already gotten my bronze.. I know that you need more than just the merit badge. I did the Red Cross first aid. As well as a Red Cross First Responders course. It took about 3 months. It was more info than I hope to ever use. But its good to know. As a reminder.. it also needs to be current when you finish the bronze award.

I don't know about anyone else.. but I know that my family has 3 generations of eagles. My grandfather.. in who knows when. My uncle.. sometime around 1969-1971. My brother.. 1997 i believe. I'd have gotten eagle.. if I could have passed the first requirement.
