June 12, 201214 yr Anyone else heard a BSA spot? Yes, in the 60s, when I was a kid, and probably into the early 70's. TV ads, too. Haven't heard or seen one since then, though.
June 12, 201214 yr Author Since the ad was during the morning rush hour on a news talk radio station, I'd say it was definitely targeting parents. "Eagle" was one of the first words in the spot, BSA wasn't mentioned until the end.
June 14, 201214 yr No mention of "Follow the Rugged Road", I assume. (For those who are not "that" old, Follow the Rugged Road was a BSA promotional slogan in the late 60's.)
