caleen 10 Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 Hi Everyone, New to this forum and site. I'm a mom of a Webelos II and Wolf, den leader for both. My husband is Quartermaster for our pack. Also have a 5 year old daughter who wants to be a Cub Scout, not a Brownie. We call her a pup scout as she is the mascot to her brothers' dens. Just had out Fire & Knife camping weeking 11/3-5. Slept in 25 degree nights, loved it all. The kids absolutely loved it. Looking for info, fun stuff to do and creativity for our den meetings. Gonzo1 10 Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Welcome, I suggest sticking to the program helps in Scouting magazine. Also, some good ideas come from Roundtable meetings. Before your next campout, teach them how to ack (not backpack) but how to put things in Zip Lock bags to keep them dry, sleeping bag selection, that kind of stuff.
