tlamkin 10
I'm new to this forum and thought I should glean as much knowledge from those who have walked this pathway before. I look forward to interaction!
BSAChaplain 10
Welcome! Do I understand from your profile that you are an Eagle, an OA member and firestarter. We hope you can glean much, but don't hesitate to add your voice too.
tlamkin 10
Yes, I am all of the above, but the term is "Firecrafter" which is a local phenomenon in Indiana. It is however beginning to spread out into the nation. I believe Firecrafter is a great way to teach scouts the basics of camping and firebuilding skills. In fact, it is a "pecking order" kind of thing to be able to start fire by friction. I'm not quite there yet but a lot of our boys are!
