All of a sudden, every time I come to scouter.com, another window pops up with "Brigade Quartermasters" website. My "usual" popup blocker doesn't stop it. Why is this happening all of a sudden? It is quite annoying. Is this just me, or is this happening to others?

I don't have a pop-up ad blocker, and I have not seen this. In fact, I've never seen a pop-up ad here.

Sounds like you've got one on your computer. Just delete your cookies and/or run something such as Ad Aware. That program can be had off the internet for free, BTW.

 

It could be worse. Brigade seems to be a good catalog and website. I havent bought anything from there, but their prices seem pretty fair.

 

I just dont see Terry placing those things on here without letting us know first and going to the extreme to try not doing so.

 

 

I have SpyBot installed, and update regularly, and have the popup blocker from Google (both are free, by the way). I only have minimal popups; will have some when I visit a Yahoo site, but that's about it. Your mileage may vary, of course......

It's not scouter.com, it's spyware on your pc. Try ad-aware (http://lavasoft.element5.com) or hijackthis. Both are freeware. Between the two, you can get rid of just about anything that doesn't belong.
