SMT224 10
Usually Vanity are some sort of a personal puzzle known only to the owner of the vehicle. Sometimes it's fun to try and figure out what the combination of letters and numbers might mean, but ofter you just don't know. Yesterday and today, I saw a couple of plates that seemed pretty unambiguous as to their meaning, and I'm amazed the state actually printed them. Both times I was driving with my two boys - both Scouts - and they had no trouble figuring out what these things meant. BUCKOFF NASTEA Anyone else seen such vehicular messages? Or are these anomalies? Nevertheless, I think these cross the line for a license plate.

Novice_Cubmaster 10
Isn't that something you spray on your car to repel deer? NC
ntrog8r 19
No, Novice, No. It's what you spray on your car when the repellent didn't work... To be honest, there are much worse than "nasty" out there; unless that means something else?
SR540Beaver 116
I know one guy in our council who has EGLDAD on his plate. I believe his name is Barry.
scoutldr 739
I worked with a guy once who had "KZXLWHM" on his plates. We never figured it out, and he never told. Might be Klingon.
packsaddle 753
I thought NASTEA was a misspelling of the name of a popular instant tea. Edited part: maybe the KZXLWHM thing is a radio call sign?(This message has been edited by packsaddle)

scoutldr 739
Timely...on the way home last night, I saw "PPLESUK". I'm surprised that one got approved. Working in a hospital, I see some good ones in the parking garage: GASPASR RN4BB PPDOC ICUTU IXRAYU
