Conservatives more honest than liberals

Please explain to me how the President of the United States has control over the free market in which oil is traded.

 

As for the economy being in the tank, it all started during the Democratic administration when US companies started shipping manufacturing to China to save a buck or two. I remember when Willie proudly announced that we had "turned the corner" and were no longer a manufacturing economy but a service economy. I guess he figured that we could survive as a country of Wal-Mart clerks.
