wood branding iron source needed

We are looking for a branding iron to make souvenir wood disks at camp. Lots of sources online but I am looking for other and cheaper options...any ideas are appreciated.

Find a local Farrier/blacksmith they can probably help you out, cheaper than online.

Does it have to be a branding iron or can it be a wood-burning tool? How big is the brand?

Basically an iron we can heat in the fire with the name of the pack, year, and camp. Size...???

I'm a farrier so I have the tools, IE. Forge, to shape most anything you want and if I can't do it I know someone else who can.

I teach blacksmithing and welding to 4H and my troop for farm mechanics merit badge. We would LOVE to build your branding irons, but will not get busy again until after holidays. A local blacksmith would be more suitable, ck out www.abana.org. Besides, if I can do it .............
