New "Position of Responsibility?"

I'm looking through the new handbook. I see on page 58 a badge for "Webmaster." Is this something I missed from previous years, or something new? I can't seem to find anything anywhere regarding it's description.

It's new along with LNT Trainer.

Both Webmaster and LNT Trainer count towards Star and Life requirements, but not Eagle.

Yes, but the new handbook says otherwise.

That website posted IS the most up to date info and comes from the national advancement committee. yep the book doesn't say eagle, but the book was set to press a few months back. the NAC probably met in May, and decided to add Eagle as well.

Until a new Eagle Scout Application comes out with the new PORs specifically listed with the rest, then those 2 PORs aren't valid for Eagle, IMHO, regarless of what a summary of rank changes on a website says. Given that those PORs aren't valid for rank advancement until 1/1/2010, anyway, it's a moot point for 4 more months, anyway.

Even if it counts the soonest you could use it for Eagle credit would be 7/1/2010, 6 months after it became effective. Plenty of time for correct info and new forms to get out there.
