EagleWB 10
I know you can't have a fund raiser, for an Eagle project, just to raise funds for some organization. But if enough material isn't donated and the Scout can't get enough donations can he have a fund raiser to get enough money to buy materials that are needed?
OldGreyEagle 5
Absolutely the scout can raise funds for materials for an Eagle Project
shemgren 10
The only exception to fund raising in conjuction with the Eagle Leadership Project is to raise funds for the materials for the project itself. One of Scouts in my troop did a dinner to raise funds for his project and raised about half the materials cost that way. Scott
EagleWB 10
OGE, shemgren, Thank you for your replies. I was pretty sure it was ok, but wanted to check it for sure before the Scout proceeded with it.
