I notice that Petco has Scouts visit there stores.

 

Has anyone here setup an event ath there store?

Really I wanted to know what type of program they have, maybe it is something I could use with my Tiger Scouts.

From what I understand they do a nice job & the kids get free goodie bags. The only problem is finding a location that has evening or Sat hours available for tours.

 

I have taken Tigers to local area animal shelters and they have been great.

 

WOW! Talking about pets and cub scouts. In October, my son, a wolf cub, broke his leg and was in a cast from his foot all the way up. Needless to say, he was in a wheelchair. At our pack meeting that month, we had a weinnie roast/hayride with games/activities. My son new he wouldn't be able to do much so he wanted to take his 1 yr. old small dog. A leader and the Cubmaster were hateful to my family (by the way my husband and I are the den leaders) because of the dog. Later that week we were informe that they had a special meeting and banned dogs from all cub scout events. Just thought some of you might find that amusing.
