This website has lots of needs that could be met as a service project by the scouts in your troop: http://www.pineridgerez.net or by you and your family members. There are many degress of need there and some way that each of us can contribute.

LovetoCamp 9
I just need a guess on something. Let's use a normal storage box 18 X 18 X 24 or so. If one was to collect toys, clothes, books, videos and such, how many boxes, or what size of a pile of stuff would approximate one ton?
ScoutParent 10
The last box I sent weighed about 14 lbs. Some have been as little as a 4" x 4" box of vegetable seeds. The needs are great and all donations appreciated.
