New Regs for Tsunami Relief Fundraising

* A decision of the Executive Committee of the National Board of

GSUSA on January 9, 2005 determined that a limited exception to the

prohibition against girl fund-raising for outside organizations would be in order given the special circumstances. Thus, girls will be allowed to fund-raise for tsunami relief up until September 1, 2005, with funds going to any of the established aid organizations contained on the USA Freedom Corps web-site (www.usafreedomcorps.gov ).
