Here's a real man's use of peanut butter. This recipe is from my grandpa - used to be a boy scout and a scoutmaster.

Spread peanut butter on one slice of good bread. Hollow out a green pepper, stuff the bread inside. Eat whole.

 

My favorite camp counselor at Camp Ruby Lake prepared this treat for us (and I used to hate tomatoes with a vengeance):

Peanut butter sandwiches with sliced tomoatoes instead of jelly. Amazingly good. Tastes just like peanut butter and jelly.

In that pb and pepper sandwich is the pepper raw or cooked? I wonder what a roasted pepper with pb would taste like?
