aol templates

Hello,

I am trying to find out how to make a simple plaque to give out webelos for the AOL. Not wanting anything fancy as tools, shop area might come into play. Does anyone have a source for a template of the arrow or have a ideal? Thanks

Nicely finished plaque with an arrow mounted on it, along with rank badges and pins earned in the Cub Scout program. That's what we do in our pack. Sometimes someone makes the planks, sometimes they are purchased.

Not sure how simple your simple tools are, but something we did once:

 

Cut out the AoL design on a piece of luan/plywood veneer. Then cut out a slightly larger rectangle of the same wood for a background.

 

Use clear sanding sealer on the Aol , but stain the background. Put them together.

 

Takes only about 45 miunts to do this.

Blancmange, thanks for the link! I really like the merchandise there and will definitely use it when our Webelos achieve their AOL.
