Lengthening switchback pants?

I see there is already a discussion on shortening these pants, but my problem is the opposite. I am more a 36" inseam (I'm a 2XL waist in these pants), and fit the regular, green cotton uniform pants, because they came unfinished and were long enough for me with a minimal finished seam. Obvioiusly, finding material to match these will be the challenge, so I thought I would ask here.

Have you tried calling/emailing the company that made the pants to see if they come in other lengths? Scouting store online? Surely you are not the only one that needs a longer length.

 

One thing we had to do for my son 6'5" 300lbs for sash was sew 2 together. Thank goodness that grandma is an expert seamstress. No one noticed. Maybe talk to a seamstress and see if that would solve problem but would require buying another pants. Use other for shorts.

Just a thought.
