  1. I am interested in this very subject, more than you can imagine. My son just crossover in February with a group of 4 others and already earned the Scout badge as we worked on that while on Webelos 2. They have being part of the Troop only 2 months and I will like to know because my "know it all" ASM said you can't, he was their CM. That has made the situation uncomfortable as I have being told I shouldn't push my son too hard and this is not Cub Scouts. I understand the difference between BS and CS, just trying to get a straight answer. They are going to a First aid MB class next month, my question is, if they earn the First Aid MB can we count all they learn for the T-2-1 badges?

  2. This is my first post and I want to say something...Our Pack tried the "giving every scout a chance to go camping" when parents couldn't go with them and last year we had the sad situation of kids bringing sacks of candy and all kind of junk into the camp. We had 1 webelo overdue the gatorade fest to wash down the bag of marshmellows he ate after having the Pack meal, a wolf eating a bag of cheetos to counter the sugar rush he got from marshmellows AND all kind of candy being given to other scouts present. None the less, the leaders had told them to put all the snacks away but they didnt listened. By 8:00pm we had at least 3 scouts throwing up and seriously sick not to talk about rakoons and other animals that came to the camp after smelling the open food on the tent, keeping the CM and other males in camp up all night trying to rush them away. To correct that situation this year we implemented new rules for campers, no scout can go without an adult. That will keep our chasing down the scouts to a halt and the leaders being able to enjoy the camping trip with their kids instead that in charge of the den.
