  9. the reason that i have been to four troops is because the first two where crap. they hd one camp out every two years weather they needed it or not. they never went to summer camp. then i found a troop that i liked. we had to move. the troop that i am with now is a very good troop. i do not plan on being a hobo. when i am 50 i hope to have better thingd to do with my life then be a 50 year old man scout. and for my EBOR i will play along and be the goody goody life scout that will get me the badge. also my troop has no idea of this. i have no problem with scoutting a
  10. reply to clemlaw 1. i do hate to wear my uniform in public because it places me in a group with all of the other disrespectfull twerps in my troop. 2. i enjoy the outdoors aspect of scouting but not the "be a good person aspect" 3. i am getting something that looks realy good in resumes.
  11. hey guys, this is the "young man" the you are all talking about. just wanted to say some things. 1. i really am the ASPL 2. i am now in my fourth troop, and in the first three when i was still a new scout, all of the members disregarded the oath and law. 3. what i mean is i think that the scout oath and law are to simplistic and idealistic. sometimes you have to violate theses ideas to get to your goals wow i am glad that i give you guys something to talk about.
  12. I received several requests to address this response, posted in several OA threads. I recognize that there is no way, in this day of the internet, to keep secrets or mysteries from other people if they really want to find them out. In keeping with the Scout Law, I have removed references from this forum that publicly reveal things about the OA. staff member (This message has been edited by a staff member.)
