dmilfess 10 Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Hey Everyone, I'm somewhat new to scouting and this site, so I'm not sure if there are many New Jersey scouters here, but I found a pretty good scouting event in the area. The minor league baseball team, The Lakewood BlueClaws have Scout theme nights at the ball park and two dates where scouts can sleep over. I called about these theme nights a couple days ago and they informed me of a patch design contest they have! All packs and troops are welcome to submit designs and the winner will be the patch given out this year at the ballpark! I think this is a pretty neat thing to do with scouts, if anyone knows of their scout nights let me know how they went. I'd like to see if this is something I should suggest to my sons pack leader.
