kittle 10 Posted April 23, 2006 Share Posted April 23, 2006 We only had one Webelos crossing over: the mother of one wouldn't met him join a Troop and the other wasn't interested. The Crossover went very well. I had to fill in for the SM of the troop that he is joing because this happened to be the weekend that they were camping. The Pack surprised me with a plaque in appreciation for my role as a den leader. They knew that I am taking the next year off as a leader and am only going to sit in on the committee. I told them that if they needed any help to give me a call and I would be there to help, but I was very tired. They actually had me speechless (and that is rare). After the Derby was over, we had one of the parents take a swing at his ex-mother-in-law. That was just the excitement that you don't need at an even that is supposed to be for the kids.
