Hi Everyone,

I'm a mom of 3 boys.known as the Beastie Boys. My oldest 2 are 2nd Class Scouts. 1 is a patrol leader. My youngest is a 1st year Webelo. I started my Scouting career as the older 2 Webelos leader. Then was volenteered to do Tigers(my great nephews den). Now I'm a new unit Commissioner. This year has been alot harder then the others.I find the boys are easier to work with than the adults. But I'm sure things will get better after I get alittle more experience. My brother who is a Scoutmaster helps me alot.Camping is my favorite.Thank heaven my Dad taught me survival skills when was a kid. Our troop thinks it's cool that I can use flint and steel and tie a knot as well as them.My feelings are that Scouting is the best thing a parent can do for their children, and themselves.I'm glad I found this forum.I'm sure I'll be using the info and suggestions I find here. Thanks everyone in advance.
