A new 10 X 20 canopy, wood for a new Klondike sled and two 4ft. folding tables were in the quartermaster locker after christmas. As well as a new paint job in the room the Troop meets in and a furnace for the Troop building. Link to post Share on other sites

A new 7x14 Cargo Trailer is parked in my driveway and I'm slowly getting my garage back (1/2 the money for the trailer was donated). The boys built a new Klondike sled (materials donated by another one of Santa's helpers). And, we purchased some new tents and other camping equipment with our Popcorn profits. Thank you Santa! Big_Dog 10 Posted January 5, 2004 Share Posted January 5, 2004 SMT376 - Are you sure that was Santa and not the United Way? Sorry, just a small attempt at humor! Our CO, (hereby know as Santa) is donating a building for us a new Scout hut. Popcorn sales were good enough that all of our Scouts went to the Council Scout Shop and got full Class 'A' uniforms. That was cool! As we are a new troop, tonight we will conduct our first BOR's for several Scouts ready for Tenderfoot. All in all, it's been a great holiday season.
