Living Target Restriction

Recommended Posts

And those tiny buffalos are hard to hit!

I guess I knew that this might be playing football with the hornets nest, so if:

"Scout units may plan or participate in paintball, laser tag or similar events where participants shoot at targets that are neither living nor human representations."

has anyone ever played Laser Tag where you did NOT shoot at each other? What's the purpose of paintball if you don't get and give any welts?

I was contemplating givng my students a take-home assigment to draw a target of their favorite tasty animal and we'd shoot it the next day. Political correctness is impeding our testosterone display...

I don't know about *all* living things, but I do know several states, including Massachusetts, do have laws (at least for archery) about shooting at targets that are look like *humans*.

Which is why in the SCA, we do a lot of shooting at targets that resemble empty suits of armor, or humanoid figures with green skin and yellow eyes, because then it's an orc. ;)
